SETA accredited training refers to approved skills development courses provided by institutions which offer courses and skills development programs that qualify as SETA accredited training. This simply means that a course provider must be registered and approved by specific SETAs as training provider and that the course standard must be approved by the above organizations within that sector of the economy.
The reason why this is so important is that qualifications obtained through specific courses or skills development programs must adhere to specific standards to ensure that they are recognized throughout the country and where applicable internationally.
