The workplace is the ideal place for situation mathematical training, because learners discover meaning from real life activities such as dealing with bills and accounts, banking and looking after money. Credit at shops and offices, banks, budgets and other everyday events where maths is required will be understood after learning whole numbers, fractions, decimals, metrics, and percents.

Ask any group of adults about the math they use in their work, and they may not recognize some of the work tasks as math tasks, because in many cases the using of maths is obvious - using a calculator, for example.
