Communication is all about relationships, and if you want a successful relationship you need to know how to communicate effectively, whether its with your boss or your colleagues, because the way personnel communicate with each other can make all the difference between efficiency, success or failure, and how satisfying you find your job.  Communications training means management must face the challenge of formulating strategies to encourage personnel to communicate effectively.

Good communication needs to start at the very top of the organization by senior management setting the example, through continually providing a constant stream of information to staff about the strategies, policies and procedures the organization intends to adhere to.
