SPEAKING ZULU
"Imfundo Ayikhulelwa". no age restriction in education
Speaking Zulu means you are speaking the language of South Africa's largest ethnic group, the Zulu people. It is probably the most widely understood African language in South Africa, spoken from the Cape to Zimbabwe but mainly concentrated in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, and is the written language of the Northern Nguni. Zulu is not also the most widely spoken language in South Africa, it is also the most widely spoken African language in South Africa, and for this reason, speaking Zulu is what most English, Afrikaans and foreign speakers choose to learn when learning an African language in order to improve their communication with fellow South Africans.
Many want to learn Zulu as an expression of greater cultural awareness and integration within the social fabric of South Africa, and you can! At Triple e, we offer Zulu courses which are about 32 hours in duration, and consist of three study units:
- Greetings: asking about someone's health etc
- Shopping for groceries, money and transport.
- The workplace is covered in detail and is customised to suit the company's procedures and preferences.
Speaking Zulu offers great personal satisfaction through the challenge of learning a new language and can lead to increased social and even business opportunities.
The demand for language training is growing in South Africa as more and more people understand that language diversity breaks down language barriers and is immensely rewarding, and the advantage to speaking Zulu goes a long way to earning the respect of the people of our nation, because developing a rapport with people in their own language removes barriers and creates the opportunity to communicate with more confidence.
Speaking Zulu is for anyone involved with a culturally diverse workforce and at Triple e, because we have already delivered Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) to more than 600 companies throughout South Africa, we can provide interactive and participative training for your staff too.
