AFRIKAANS FASE 1

Afrikaans is the dominant language in the Western Cape region and is of the utmost importance in any career, particularly in that part of South Africa. Along with English, proficiency in Afrikaans is still quite often a prerequisite for employment in any sector, and for his reason Afrikaans fase 1 is ideal for people who are reluctant to share knowledge because they cannot understand Afrikaans.

Language problems in South Africa are compounded by having to deal with eleven official languages, and communication, which is a major element of knowledge sharing, is often severely hampered, but Afrikaans fase 1 helps learners to know the meaning of Afrikaans words, as well as to read and to write.

The language Afrikaans has its roots in seventeenth century Dutch but it has been influenced by many languages including English, Malay, German, Portuguese, French and some African languages. Language is recognised as a tool for learning and not just a means of communication, but often organizational performances are restricted by the lack of respect, relationships and understanding within diverse teams.

Afrikaans fase 1 is ideal for persons with no or very little knowledge of Afrikaans as the course improves the speaking ability of learners in such a manner that they are able to comfortably communicate in various practical situations. Learners obtain a sufficient grounding in the grammar of Afrikaans, their speaking ability is improved through oral exercises and group interactions, as the course aims to improve the proficiency of non-mother tongue speakers of Afrikaans where emphasis is on fluency and grammatical correctness.

The bedrock of illiteracy is broken through our effective ABET system which focuses on literacy supported by ABET programs that are vocationally driven to support the thrust for increased employability of all South African citizens, and at Triple e, we offer Afrikaans fase 1 for all people involved in human resource management and individuals who need to communicate with a diverse workforce where Afrikaans is one of the spoken languages.
