What does it mean to be an Umalusi accredited training provider?
Umalusi is the quality assurance authority for general and advanced education as well as training curriculum of the NQF which is the short for National Qualifications Framework. Umalusi oversees the quality of education and training provided in the country. They make sure that the Umalusi accredited training provider has adequate capacity and the efficiency level to provide and evaluate qualifications and various training or learning programs. The Umalusi accredited training provider should do this according to specific standards. The General and Further Education & Training Act nr 58 of 2001 governs general and further education and training. As such Umalusi is guided by the mentioned Act. Triple e qualifies under the auspices of Umalusi as an accredited training provider of general education and further education & training in South Africa.
