Adults learn differently

Friday, June 12th, 2009

Have you ever tried to learn as an adult in the way children do? If we were to learn in the same way we would lose all hope. Children have growing brains and can intake more knowledge than adults. In addition they have 12 years at school to learn a new language, master maths, life orientation and science. As adults we are busy, have less time, and certainly don’t have 12 years to complete our Grade 12 education. As such we can conclude that adults learn differently and require education that will ensure that they can learn subjects in a shorter time span and be able to apply the knowledge directly in their lives as well as workplaces. The Triple e ABET courses have been structured to accommodate the way adults learn and thus to be highly effective. Contact Triple e for adult education courses for your employees today.

Friday, June 12th, 2009

The Triple e adult mathematics classes are well accepted and loved by course attendees because we have unique way of presenting knowledge which makes the subject understandable, fun, and applicable to the workplace. Our adult mathematics classes are presented on the level of the attendee and as such pre assessments are done to ensure that the adult mathematics classes are presented at a level that the attendee will understand and appreciate. We build upon their existing skills. We also schedule the classes around their shifts and time available. This makes it possible for more workers to attend. Keeping in mind that they don’t have as much time available as school children or students, we offer compact classes which promote fast learning and application of skills attained.

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

When South Africa implemented the National Qualifying Framework, it sent a powerful message to the nation’s workers, and it sent an equally strong message to the world community. Making a significant commitment to a program of adult school education, South Africa honored its workers’ long-standing demand to receive the skills and tools which support workplace advancement. The nation also told it friends and rivals among the modern industrialized nations it intended to claim its rightful place among the world’s elite. Creating a comprehensive, progressive system of adult school education, South Africa began preparing its workforce for competition in the twenty-first century global marketplace. As adult school education has helped disadvantaged students up the academic ladder it simultaneously has propelled their progress up the corporate ladder. As more alumni of adult school education claim their places among South Africa’s business leaders they power the nation’s emergence among the world’s economic leaders.
