Education on NQF1 level requires specific books and ABET learning materials. Triple e ensures that course attendees will have access to the appropriate ABET learning materials, structured specifically for the NQF1 level. The ABET learning materials for this level include workbooks, facilitation and portfolio building. ABET learning materials are available for all the levels right through the NQF4 and address all the main areas of learning including communication, languages, life orientation, sciences, mathematics, technology, and economic and management sciences. By using the appropriate ABET learning materials for each level we can ensure that learners will not have to purchase additional materials and thus save on stationary and book costs. This is important as many learners simply cannot afford add-on materials.

One of the frequently asked questions about ABET learning programs is how long it takes to complete one of the levels of ABET learning programs. The timeframe depends on how many hours the learner spends a week attending the ABET learning programs. The more hours put in a week the shorter the timeframe for completion of the program. It takes on average 4 to 6 hours a week and can be completed in 6 to 10 months. As such learners will not have to spend years to complete the various levels of ABET learning programs and if the learners have more time available they will be able to complete the various levels quicker. That being said, at Triple-e we provide an environment that stimulates learning and one that is aimed to accommodate the adult with little time available.
