How to use ABET recruitment tools
Without the assistance of volunteers to act as facilitators in the Adult Basic Education and Training programme, the project would be a resounding failure. Volunteers are required on an ongoing basis around the country to work from learning centres or provide services at business premises. Candidates require matric certification or some other form of higher learning degree or diploma and will receive the necessary training to enable them to fulfil the role of a facilitator. Finding the right candidates can be tedious without the use of ABET recruitment tools. Flyers and other media are available for download via the internet. The best recruitment tool is however word of mouth and students as well as existing facilitators can be roped in to spread the word regarding the need for volunteers in an area.

I would like to become a facilitator. I am an ex teacher in Geography and Speech and Drama (Majors) I also hold a diploma in Clinical Nutrition fron Internationl Academy of Nutrition in Australia and am a Nutritional Therapist and belong to the South African Association for Nutritional Therapy.
I have been working as a therapist for the last 6 years, but feel the need is great to get the message across to more people and to save lives. I would love to teach in Qwa Zulu Natal Durban, North coast region using thses skills. There i a huge need out there for practicaL NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION.Please could you pass this on to a relevant service provider, or point me in the right direction. If no course exists for this field which I suspect is the case I would be willing to create short courses and teach them myself or to train facilitators. I do not however want to be a training provider. I would want to facilatate in an existing organisation.
If this is not possible then I can do presentation skills and general public speaking training using my speech and drama skills to companies.
