BEE Training Providers Offering ABET In South Africa

When seeking out a training centre to handle your business ABET (Adult Basic Education and Training) courses it is best to seek out BEE training providers who have been properly assessed and rated. While there are many training centres operating across South Africa, not all of them are BEE compliant and receive less support due to this particular fact.

Triple E Training is one of few accredited BEE training providers in South Africa. We are considered a level 2 contributor at 125%. Of course our BEE rating is not the only reason that we are so well supported. We are focused and dedicated to providing our clients with the opportunity to attend top quality courses that are interesting, effective and easy to understand. Our tutors are qualified and experienced, and will ensure that you are able to keep up, every step of the way.

Of course regardless of what training centre you decide to make use of you will need to have your employees assessed in order to see what level of education they actually possess. Once their competency levels have been ascertained the right course material and tests can be set out to ensure that they achieve the qualifications and certifications that they are after. It is important to ensure that you browse through the various courses on offer and present the options to your workforce. There are various courses for ABET with the most popular ones being communication and language, numeracy, basic literacy and interaction. Employees can learn to hold a conversation with clients, give directions, add and subtract and even learn a bit more about the general geography of South Africa.

Regardless of the level of education your employees currently have, sending them on a course is bound to boost their morale, leave them feeling empowered and also improve on efficiency and productivity within your business. Many people are not aware of the importance of a good relationship until it is too late and it is an unfortunate fact that due to a lack of education, many people are unable to properly support themselves and their families. BEE training providers such as Triple E Training will be able to offer you a wide variety of courses designed to assist your general staff and even your management or executive staff. Chatting to one of our consults will help you to set the right training schedule and program in place.

We have been serving the market for many years and have facilitators located right across the country. This means that you can have access to our courses and classes regardless of where you are based in South Africa. Our tutors are experienced, qualified and guaranteed to provide you with the best training available at all times. Classes and tutors are regularly assessed to ensure quality of lessons and that the standard of education is not compromised.

When looking for reliable and reputable BEE training providers to assist you with your ABET needs, take the time to chat to one of our team members at Triple E Training. We will ensure that you are provided with access to a range of the best courses at a cost-effective rate.

Improve Your Employees Efficiency With Basic Numeracy Training

If you have staff members who lack basic numeracy training then Triple E Training has just the solution for you. We offer a variety of basic courses designed to assist the individual to improve on their numeracy skills and make them more secure in the work place.

Students will be tested on their learnt work and certificates awarded to those who pass and do well.

Literacy Training To Get Ahead In the Work Place

In the same vein, literacy training is just as important as numeracy training. Those who want to excel in the work place will need to work their way up, but without being able to read or write, this can become an insurmountable task. ABET courses offered by us at Triple E Training are focused on teaching individuals the basics of reading, writing, communicating and so on.

Of course each student will need to be assessed to ascertain on what level of education they are. It is essential to choose a course on the right level for the student or they will find that they are unable to follow, keep up with the class and will ultimately fail. In order to choose a course that is perfectly suited to your employee’s competency levels, chat to one of our friendly consultants about arranging an assessment. Literacy training can help one to understand better in the work place and also to feel empowered. Providing an individual with the opportunity to better themselves and their current life position is probably the single best thing an employer can arrange for an employee.

Literacy and numeracy training at Triple E Training is something to be enjoyed. Each and every learner to pass through our care is guaranteed to have a good time learning their new skills and looking forward to their new life and better efficiency in the work place. We believe that growth can be quite successfully achieved through development and that those who wish to get ahead should always be looking to improve on their skills and further their education and knowledge. Chat to one of our competent staff members about your education and training needs and requirements including our numeracy training – we will ensure that you are assisted every step of the way.

NQF Defines Training Standards In South Africa

For many years, and even more so, since the birth of our still-emerging democracy, numeracy private companies and institutions have competed to offer all manner of educational and training facilities. In many cases, however, a certificate issued by such an establishment held little standing in local circles, was certainly not a guarantee of the relevant competency and did not qualify the owner for entry to further studies. It was precisely these shortfalls that made necessary the founding of the NQF in South Africa.

The initials stand for National Qualification Framework, the system defines the relative educational levels of various approved courses according to a uniform set of standards and does so within three clearly-defined bands known by the acronyms GET, FET and HET. The first stands for General Education and Training and applies both to formal schooling up to standard 8 and Adult Basic Education and Training courses offered under ABET schemes. FET refers to Further Education and Training and HET to Higher Education and Training.

All recognised qualifications fall under one of these NQF bands. In South Africa the bands are further divided into 8 levels. NQF1 then would apply to learners completing standard 2 to standard 7 in the GET band while standard 8 is recognised as NQF2, standard 9 as NQF3 and matric as NQF4 in the FET band. The remaining levels 5 to 8 represent higher education qualifications beginning with National Certificates or Diplomas and Occupational Certificates at level 5, undergraduate degrees and higher diplomas designated as level 6 and levels 7 and 8 representing honours or post-grad certificates and Doctorates or Master’s degrees respectively.

Assisting Job Seekers

NQF levels in South Africa are of great help to those holding some kind of qualification in their search for work. The establishment of the national qualification framework has made it a relatively simple task for an employer to understand the level of ability represented by any given certificates or diploma to which an official level within this framework has been allocated.

It also acts as an important yardstick with which to develop new courses that will conform to the levels of learning needed for NQF equivalency in South Africa and has long been the staple guideline for all forms of adult education and training provided to the country’s learners by accredited ABET service providers such as Triple e Training.

In particular, the levels represented by many vocational certificates and diplomas provided to professionals such as laboratory technologists, theatre technicians, radiographers and carers have, in the past, been hard to assess, but the establishment of the framework has provided recruiters and employers with the means to make meaningful and reliable comparisons defined by the NQF levels applicable in South Africa.

Defining The Way Up

On completion of a recognised basic education course, the learner knows that he or she is qualified to progress to matric studies if so motivated and, thereafter to higher education or an advanced vocational qualification in accordance with an established framework that clearly defines each step on the upward journey.

Whether the need is for basic literacy, numeracy, improved English or one of many available vocational training courses, contact us about our proven-effective and certified NQF equivalent courses in South Africa and selected neighbouring states.

Unit Standard Based Training Offers Many Benefits

Even in a full time learning system, there is a need to observe uniform standards that define the expected outcomes for any given course of study, the subject matter needed to attain those desired outcomes and the methods and resources that will be used to present the designated subject matter. Where learnerships are part-time and may be offered via several different outlets, the use of a uniform system can be even more desirable. Today unit standard based training schemes are in use around the world and are proving to be highly effective both there and in South Africa.

One big advantage that ensues when using this type of structure is that it allows courses to be designed in such a way that each module prepares learners to progress naturally to the next one while also allowing assessors to monitor their progress in time to become aware of any remedial steps that may be required. Unit standard based training in basic adult education may also be readily adapted to prepare learners for more advanced studies such as matric or a degree.

Suitable For Any Subject

The use of this modular structure in creating courses is readily applicable to any subject and can be of great help to those assigned the task. Each lesson has a distinct goal that is pursued in a series of logically ordered steps allowing learners to progress steadily but at a comfortable pace.

The unit standard based training system also makes for greater efficiency on the part of an instructor or assessor. When defining, in advance, not just content but also all of the necessary resources that are to be used in presenting a given training unit, a smooth lesson is guaranteed and the proof can be seen in the long and enviable record of success enjoyed consistently by the country’s top ABET providers such as EEE training.

All indications are that educational schemes that employ unit standard based training work exceptionally well. To learn how your staff may benefit from this type of learnership, contact us today.

The Importance Of Learnership Fundamentals In Education

The word fundamental can be defined as the basis or foundation of just about anything. Without this basis or foundation it would be improbable for anything to exist. This is why it is so important to teach learnership fundamentals to students of any age to ensure that they have the basis for learning and absorbing all future knowledge. The most basic learnership fundamentals therefore involve language and communication. Without being able to understand a language, a person will not be able to gain any knowledge in that tongue.

The next of the most important learnership fundamentals is literacy. Literacy relates to the ability of a person to read and write. The higher the level of literacy of an individual, the greater the amount of knowledge they can begin to absorb through the written word. This means that an individual who has the learnership fundamentals to read and write can begin to learn on their own without the assistance of a teacher and can use the written word as an aid to the learning process. But these are not the only learnership fundamentals that are important.

Once basic reading and writing skills have been achieved, learnership fundamentals in numeracy and mathematics can be achieved. The early Sumerians and Chinese started using counting and maths thousands of years ago which now form the basis of just about every aspect of our society. Some people would even argue that it may be more efficient to teach numeracy learnership fundamentals before literacy is taken into account. However, literacy makes the process of learning numeracy through reading and writing that much simpler to achieve. It is also important for any teacher or learning facilitator to have a good working knowledge of learnership fundamentals before attempting to teach them.
