Staff training is essential for a strong workforce

Friday, December 5th, 2008

Functional illiteracy hinders an employee’s chances of promotion and positive contribution in the workplace. Companies that provide staff training through learnership programs benefit since they have employees work in the environment where they want them to build skills. The Triple e learnership staff training programs entail theoretical base and practical experience in the workplace. Companies improve their BEE rating when they provide adequate staff training and improve their workforce considerably. The staff training can be focused on giving them the basic literacy in communication, languages, life skills and mathematics required to perform well in their jobs or can be used to help employees brush up on their skills. Where there is a need for specific skills development such as project management companies can also contact Triple e for the specified staff training for that industry.

Mathematical Training for workplace application

Friday, December 5th, 2008

Even if you can count, know what formulas do and how to divide, the knowledge is still worth nothing unless you can apply it in real life situations. Fractions are used when having to calculate recipe ingredients, in agriculture and even in time estimates. Mathematical training will take the skills already present and build upon that to ensure that employees can apply their knowledge of measurements, currencies, fractions, graphs and more in real life situations to determine distances, percentages, time allocation requirements, and more. Give your employees the skills they need to ensure the success of your business by letting them attend the Mathematical training courses as presented by Triple e.

Custom Materials Development

Friday, December 5th, 2008

Custom Materials Development plays a vital role in catering to the learning needs of course attendees. As part of custom materials development for the various ABET programs language courses in all eleven official languages are available. Although most of the course material is written in English because publishers fear tremendous financial losses if the courses were to be published in African languages, skills development in English ensures that learners can understand the course material. Custom Materials Development policies are in place to ensure workbooks, writing materials and papers in print to ensure that the majority of learners can have access to the education. There is however also some course material in digital format.

Friday, December 5th, 2008

There may be employees that will be reluctant to join an Adult Basic Education program at your workplace. First give them an indication of how they will understand instructions better, save time because they can write, spell, read, count and communicate effectively. Secondly communicate training benefits in terms of possible promotions, job security and increases in salaries. Thirdly communicate training requirements of the company and what will be expected from the attendees when they attend the courses. Get them to be positive and you will have quick learners.
