February 2012 - Serious about BBBEE at Triple E

Triple E Training Holdings (Pty) Ltd has embarked on two more projects this month, which will assist a number of its own facilitating agents and also an external organisation that is empowering a special group of ladies. “The beauty of these two projects,” says Paula Whitaker, Director, “is that we can really make an impact with our training by meeting the needs of our facilitating team and also others. In addition to this, we gain points for our own Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment scorecard.” Triple E Training works hard to maintain its Level 2 Contributor rating. They indeed strive to improve this status year-on-year. The group of Triple E facilitating agents are completing the learnership: NQF 4 ABET Practice which encompasses the essence of facilitating in the world of Adult Education and Training. Triple E takes a few steps more than just the required outcomes for this learnership, and ensures all agents are qualified in English and Maths at all levels for AET. One of the learner-facilitators, Kennethea, said on facebook that she enjoyed the training in Krugersdorp last week. She thanked the team and said that she is a proud agent for Triple E! The learnership is not easy and it will take many hours of practical application to qualify, but it will produce facilitators of the highest quality. The second project involves training the ladies from POWA (People Opposing Women Abuse) in Adult Education and Training. These amazing women have embraced their studies and the Triple E team looks forward to the journey with them. Watch this space for more coverage on POWA! The Triple E projects staring in February, promote a win-win situation because its own training and development goals are met and it improves its BBBEE scorecard.
