ABET

We want to thank from our government for creating this A.B.E.T(Adult Basic Education and Training) programme. There are many of our communities that have not get the opportunity to go to schools.

It was my wish to improve my education especial to improve my english and maths. Fortunately our company Unilever organized ABET Classes to our site. The Classes are starting from Level one to NQF 3.

I joined ABET Level tow. It was February. Now we are at the end of May. I am learned a lot. We started with English. I have learned how to use tenses, like present tense, past tense and future tense. I have also learned how to right an assay, introduction, body and conclusion. I know now how to right a friendly letter application letter, to do cv, even to use a computer.

Now we are learning maths. Since we started maths there are lot of improvement. We have done fractions, We know what is numerator and denominator. We know now addition subtraction, division and multiplication. I have learned now what is number line, graph and roman numerals.

I want to recomend our facilitator Mr. Keegan Chetty. He seems he is on good track. We are looking forward.

Since I started abet

It help me a lot to do abet. Before I start abet I was not good to pronounce the English word. Now I can pronounce it. I could not count very well but now I can count.

I was using the wrong tense when I am talking English. I can prove that it is very good to improve your education by doing abet. I could not write a letter to my friend or application letter for work but now I can write because of the abet.

I can read and write English now. Abet is very useful to the old people and I am very lucky to teach by the teacher who is good to teach the adult people.

Thank you Abet
