August 2010 - GVK Port Elizabeth Recognises its Successful ABET Learners

Manny Da Conceicao (far left) and Cathy Strydom (far right) from GVK Siya Zama Building Contractors (EP) (Pty) Ltd in Port Elizabeth, pose with the successful group of ABET learners all of whom progressed one level of Maths and one level of English in the Adult Basic Education and Training Programme provided by Triple e Training Holdings (PTY) Ltd. This was funded by The CETA in the 2009/2010 ABET Project. The classes took place every week at Triple e Training and were finished in record time.

The proud Triple E Training ABET team from left below: Feziwe Sakata (facilitating agent) Judy Gerardy (Regional Unit Manager) and Chantal Beaton ( ) were ecstatic with the ABET results. The learners in this industry do not have much time to study because when they are working on a particular project, they are seldom able to leave the construction site for ABET classes. They really need to be commended for their diligence and commitment to ABET. Halala GVK! Thank you for the support of this programme. To the ABET learners – the sky is your limit!
