Letter from the MD - July 2008

Growth = Challenge and Challenge = Growth

Triple e Training Holdings (PTY) Ltd has experienced exceptional growth over the last 10 years and we believe this is achieved because we have never lost sight of the true meaning of quality. Yes, like all organisations, growing at the rate we have over the last couple of years, we have faced the necessary challenges. But our growth has placed us in a secure position of being able to invest in Social Development Projects, improving many people's lives and growing many smaller enterprises around Triple e Training Holdings.

We have invested much in systems development and now are the proud owners of WECOZA. This is a system specially developed to assist us in managing learning projects, big or small. This helps us track and monitor various aspects of the learning process, such as;

  • Attendance for the full duration of a ABET and Learnership Fundamentals Course
  • Hours facilitated versus hours attended in class
  • All learner personal details
  • Progress Reports based on exactly what's happening in the class and performance against the required outcomes
  • Learner Progression through all ABET and NQF 1 - 4 Levels
  • National statistics for reporting on national contracts
  • Management of our Facilitating Agents
  • Quality Assurance of each class
  • Facilitating Agents' Training and Assessment
  • 360 Degree view of Facilitating agents' Performance
  • Compliance with National Learners Database Standards

This is a much summarized view of a very powerful system the development of which has spanned over the last 3 years. We believe the final completion of the whole system will take another 3 years. Six years sounds like a long time, but we believe in developing this while implementing all our programmes. In this way we make sure that every aspect of training is covered in the process. What makes this project even more exciting is that we have implemented a Data Centre at the West Rand Association for the Physically Disabled. Monthly reports are captured by a combination of able and disabled people, creating an exciting environment for our Social Development Goals.

It may sound funny to start this letter with IT Systems, but we have invested a major portion of our efforts in designing and developing this to gear ourselves for exceptional growth, and exceptional quality of our delivery in the next 5 years in Triple e Training Holdings (PTY) Ltd. We have been approached by a few providers about our system and are considering managing this side of the projects for them.

ABET remains our fundamental focus point and we strive every day to provide better service and quality to serve customers across South Africa and also outside our borders.
