LAFARGE SA - PASSIONATE ABOUT CONCRETE AND ABET!
When I received the assignment to write an article about one of my current clients, the first name that popped into my head was Lafarge SA.
Triple e Training has been selected as their National ABET provider since 2001.Currently we are doing training at the plants, quarry's and depots, that includes the following sites - Tygerberg, Peak, Polokwane, Pinetown, Bloemfontein, Wynberg, Evander, Lichtenburg and many more. What surprised me most about Lafarge SA is, besides being passionate about concrete (don't dare call it cement) is their constant effort to support and uplift their employees. They always strive to do the best and give the best, not only to their employees but also to their providers.
It does not matter which site I visit, all managers and stakeholders are friendly, supportive and want to make ABET Training work for all. This is indeed a rare quality. I am always treated with respect and all stakeholders actively take part in making the projects work.
I have been informed that even on Senior Management levels, ABET is always mentioned without fail. Success is reported on and obviously too, wherever they can still improve.
